Stuart and Julie Yount’s shared love of music brought them together time and time again at various venues, eventually inspiring the idea to collaborate.  In 2007, they officially joined forces to create The Sidewalk Anthem—a duo driven by a passion for minimalistic song arrangements, rich vocal harmonies and the evocative songwriting styles of legends like Iron & Wine, Rosie Thomas, Denison Witmer, Sufjan Stevens, Joni Mitchell, James Taylor, Neil Young, and Carole King.
